WORK.


Neuropsychological diagnostic and treatment services can assist in the work setting for individuals;


  1. With an acquired brain impairment, injury, or condition, who are to make a work return

  2. With specific developmental learning disorder, memory, or other cognitive concerns

  3. Where interpersonal and personality factors are influencing function

  4. To identify any specific cognitive, emotional or behavioural changes that impact function.

  5. In the consideration of capacity with respect to specific work duties

  6. Via use of specific behavioural therapy approaches to quantify and monitor outcome.

  7. Requiring psychological advice and support as part of Employee Assistance.



EDUCATION


Neuropsychological services can assist in the education setting via;


  1.    Diagnostic assessment of learning or other cognitive function

  2.    Implementation of remediation and study strategies

  3.    Advice regarding compensatory and remediation strategies.

  4.    Behavioural therapy strategies to assess psychological intervention outcome (s).

  5.    Provision of psychological assistance and support

  6.    Liaison with educational service providers, teachers, and student support services.

  7.    Integration with other health and education disciplines and service providers.
