WORK.

Neuropsychological diagnostic and treatment services can assist in the work setting for individuals;

1. ✦ With an acquired brain impairment, injury, or condition, who are to make a work return
   

2. ✦ With specific developmental learning disorder, memory, or other cognitive concerns
   

3. ✦ Where interpersonal and personality factors are influencing function
   

4. ✦ To identify any specific cognitive, emotional or behavioural changes that impact function.
   

5. ✦ In the consideration of capacity with respect to specific work duties
   

6. ✦ Via use of specific behavioural therapy approaches to quantify and monitor outcome.
   

7. ✦ Requiring psychological advice and support as part of Employee Assistance.
   

EDUCATION

Neuropsychological services can assist in the education setting via;

1. ✦   Diagnostic assessment of learning or other cognitive function
   

2. ✦   Implementation of remediation and study strategies
   

3. ✦   Advice regarding compensatory and remediation strategies.
   

4. ✦   Behavioural therapy strategies to assess psychological intervention outcome (s).
   

5. ✦   Provision of psychological assistance and support
   

6. ✦   Liaison with educational service providers, teachers, and student support services.
   

7. ✦   Integration with other health and education disciplines and service providers.
